Got a hair trim for the first time in 2+ years, had lunch/drinks, and just all around goofed off and it was amazing! Came home to my pets eager to see me which just made the day even better! Even my bird, whose been totally whatever towards me lately practically flew into my face trying to get to me with zero bites! Ahh, it's been an awesome day! Now to finish laundry, recline, and enjoy the rest of my day off! Link to comment

Shay Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 So the water heater broke last night and we had to rush out and get a new one today and managed to order early enough for same day installation. We didn't know this until the guy got here and started poking around, but apparently the reason it stopped working was because of an electrical fire that tripped the circuit breaker. So I'm sort of inwardly freaking out about that, but I'm extremely grateful for the safety feature that nipped that thing in the bud before it could spread and cause any more damage. Link to comment

Symbolises the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new, moving forward into a new era, and fate; what's meant to happen will happen, all in good time. Just look at that amazing artwork…! Oh yeah, absolutely! It's actually the deck that should pick you. You'll know which one is right when you see it. I thought about buying one of the simpler decks for starters, a cheap(ish) one with very clear and symbolic images. The Rider-Waite deck is the one most modern decks are based on, so I was thinking about that one. But I didn't feel a connection to it, so I looked around until I found the Thelema deck, and I was just smitten. I loved it, so I ordered it online. And when I got it delivered and took it out for the first time, the energies were just crackling! It was so loaded with energies that my fingers started tingling! I've always believed that people who know what they're doing absolutely can read energies through cards, but I never thought I'd be able to feel it so clearly. It took a while for it to get tuned into my own energies, because mine aren't sparkling like that, but I feel like I'm finally in sync with it. It's meditation in its own way to just shuffle the cards. I'm planning on buying the Steampunk Tarot as well, when I can. And I'm aching to get the Arcanum Tarot deck too, but it has similar energies to Thelema and I want one with a slightly different type of energy so I can pick the deck that best fits the reading I want to do. I've read books on Tarot reading, but to be honest, I've learned way more from watching Tarot readers on Youtube. Readings by The Empress was the first channel I started following, so I'm partial to her way of reading the cards, but I also follow a whole ton of other readers as well. And in the end, it's between you and your deck. You kind of develop your own language. Aaaaaand I'm gonna stop hogging the thread now! Link to comment

It wasn't much, but it was what I needed and everything feels kind of okay again.
